I design for the person the brief forgot.
Every product quietly leaves someone out. I go find them, prove it with research, and design until it works for them too.

How I got hereGrew up in Jodhpur, studied commerce in Mumbai, and somewhere along the way realised I'd rather fix things than count them. Now I'm doing design at NID Bengaluru.
On record
Won, published, built with. Pick one to open the project behind it.
Selected work
Four projects. The first two are the ones I'd open first. The other two, I'd happily talk about for twenty minutes.
Sprints
Short runs, two days to six weeks. Things I made, filmed, built and played.

Made by hand
Sankheda craft · 2 weeks
Mandrikā
Colour gradation and gold border thickness tell you the stacking order, so the ashtray explains its own assembly.

Michael
Hand-bent bamboo instead of the easier straight-joinery route. A full-scale chair people actually sit in.
Film still
Film
Wheelchair · 2 days
Bodystorming
Campus to Peenya metro and back in a wheelchair. A simulation, not research with wheelchair users. The film was shown at NID's convocation.

Playable
Board game · 1 week
Neela Saal
My own year as a solo resource game, balanced by simulating thousands of bot-played rounds.

Hackathon
FigBuild 2026 · 2 days · Pair
Grounded
Track how much of your thinking you hand to AI, not what you wrote. Built in two days, with the research gaps named.

Concept
Elderly bathing · 6 weeks
Aarohan
Keep the bucket-and-mug ritual, remove the bending. Not yet tested with users, which is the next step.

Field audit
HGSUA 2021 · 3 weeks · Trio
Space Audit
Open sightlines, three entrances, and a 36 cm seat where the standard says 45. Access existed. Use didn't.
Used daily
Everywhere I go, I notice who a thing won't work for. So here is my own stuff, audited. Pick anything.
Pick an object. Each one gets the same three questions: who it works for, who it fails, and what I'd change.
Hard deadlines, soft pressure.
